Frequently asked questions
How haklaf works, in short: buying, selling, the price anchor, privacy and the guides.

Buying
Can I buy cards directly from haklaf?
No. haklaf is a classifieds board, not a shop: we do not sell cards, hold inventory or process payments. Every listing was posted by a collector or dealer, and the deal itself - final price, payment, shipping or handover - is closed directly between you, outside the site. Before you commit, check the item photos, the fairness tag and the seller's profile.
How does the "Interested" button work, and when does the seller get my phone number?
Click "Interested" on a listing and add a short message if you like. The seller receives an email with your request and chooses to approve or decline; the links in that email stay valid for 7 days. Only after the seller approves do both sides receive contact details by email, and you can continue on WhatsApp. Until then your number is not shared with anyone, and it never appears anywhere on the board. Browsing needs no account; sending a request requires an account with a completed profile.
Selling
What does it cost to post a listing? Is there a commission?
Posting is free and there is no commission on a sale. haklaf does not process payments or take a percentage; money moves directly from buyer to seller, in whatever way you agree on. The tools - the price anchor, the calculators and the guides - are free for everyone as well.
Why are my first listings waiting for approval?
That is the moderation step for new sellers. A seller's first listings are reviewed by the team before they go live, to filter out counterfeits, photos taken from the internet and misleading listings. When a listing is approved you get an email and it appears on the board. Once a few of your listings have been approved, new ones go live immediately.
What can I sell on haklaf? One Piece, sealed product and lots too?
Yes. The board covers Pokémon and One Piece cards: singles (raw or graded by PSA, CGC, BGS, ACE or TAG), packs, booster boxes, cases, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, bundles and lots. You must upload real photos you took yourself (up to 6) and state an accurate condition or grade. Counterfeits, stolen items and false information about grade, condition or language are prohibited.
How long does a listing stay on the board?
30 days from posting. About three days before it expires you get a reminder email (you can turn it off in settings). From your account you can bump an active listing once every 7 days: a bump moves it back to the top of the feed and renews the 30 days. Sold it? Mark it "Sold" - the listing leaves the board and anyone who showed interest is notified.
Price and anchor
What is the price anchor and how is it calculated?
The price anchor is the card's global market price, shown in shekels next to the seller's asking price. The source is the TCGplayer market price from the card catalog, converted to ILS at a current USD/ILS rate that refreshes automatically. Not every card has an anchor: when the catalog has no market price for a card, the listing is shown without a tag. The anchor is an indication only, not a valuation and not advice.
What does the fairness tag ("above" or "below market price") mean?
The tag compares the asking price to the anchor and shows the gap as a percentage. A gap of up to 5% in either direction is labelled "market price"; beyond that the tag reads "above market price" or "below market price" with the exact percentage. A price above market does not mean the seller is wrong: condition, language, grade and availability in Israel all matter, so the tag is a starting point for the conversation rather than a verdict.
Privacy and trust
How do I report a fake, a scam or a misleading listing?
Every listing and every profile has a "Report" button. Pick a reason - counterfeit, suspected scam, misleading price, offensive content, spam or other - and add details if you have them. The report goes to the moderation team only, which can remove a listing, suspend or block a user, including temporarily while it looks into the report. You can also block a seller, after which their listings are no longer shown to you.
What do other users see about me?
Only what is meant to be public: your nickname, your region (for example "Center" or "Sharon"), your profile photo and bio if you added them, your deal count, how long you have been a member and your collector rank. Your city, email and phone number are not shown to any user; the phone is passed to the other side only after you approve a request. The site uses no tracking cookies and carries no advertising.
How do I delete my account?
In account settings, at the bottom of the page ("Danger zone"), click "Delete account" and type your nickname to confirm. Deletion permanently removes your profile, listings, requests and photos, and cannot be undone. Information we are legally required to keep (for example an open report you are a party to) is retained as required. You can also request access, correction or deletion by email, and we reply within 30 days.
Guides and tools
Who writes the guides, and how much can I rely on them?
The guides are written and reviewed by the haklaf team and published under the brand. Each guide is written in Hebrew for the Israeli market, shows its last update date, and links to the primary sources behind its numbers: grading-company price lists, Israel Tax Authority rules and auction-house results. When a rule changes, the guide and the calculator are updated together. Found a mistake? Write to us and we will fix it. The guides are general information, not investment or tax advice.
Is the site available in English?
Yes. Every page - the board, listings, guides, calculators and legal pages - exists in both Hebrew and English. Hebrew is the default language and the English version lives under /en; switch languages with the button in the top menu. If the two versions of a legal text ever conflict, the Hebrew terms of use are binding.
Is there a haklaf app?
haklaf is built to work in your mobile browser, with nothing to install. If you want an icon on your home screen, choose "Add to Home screen" from the browser menu on Android or "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone, and the site opens straight from there. Requests on your listings, listing approvals and expiry reminders arrive by email, so you do not have to stay on the site to keep up.
Didn't find your answer?
The About page explains who we are and how the guides are written. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are the binding texts.
