Frequently asked questions
Which One Piece cards are actually worth something?
Common cards are worth little beyond their play value. The money is in alt-arts, SECs and manga rares, the art variant that shows a panel straight from the manga, exists from set OP-05 onward and is the rarest card type in the game. The One Piece guide breaks down every rarity tier.
Does the Pokémon light test work on One Piece cards?
Don't rely on it. The Pokémon light test depends on a black core layer in the card stock, and that structure has not been verified the same way for Bandai cards. For One Piece, lean on a direct comparison with a genuine card from the same set, the embossed stamp and the back colour.
Can One Piece cards be graded?
Yes. Both PSA and CGC actively grade the game, and CGC in particular has become popular for it. Far fewer One Piece cards have been graded than Pokémon because the game is younger, so check the Pop Report before submitting. Details are in the grading-from-Israel guide.
